A guy post

So I don't really know how this blogging works or what we are really supposed to post up and talk about so for the two of you out there who read this please forgive and bear with us for the random and possibly awkward (I had to check myself at dictionary.com for that one) posts in our fledgling months of blogging.

Anyway something I am pretty stoked about is this...

It's a 2004 Suzuki GSXR750. We got a great deal on it and it comes with everything Linz needs to ride such as being lowered 1.5" and frame sliders (ya know for those parking lot tip overs). Technically speaking it is "her" bike since we are selling her R6 to buy it, but we have had it over a month and I am the only one who has ridden it so I am slowly making my claim. Once it warms up she will start riding it quite a bit, but she doesn't have good cold weather gear to ride through the winter. However I've got heated gear which allows me to ride my ferocious Buell Blast all winter long until I get my literbike upon commissioning in 2010.

That's it for now. Spread the word we are selling a 2000 R6 for $3,000 or not, but how about a 1% commission for helping us sell it. Hey that's $30 just for talking to people. Well worth it.

Quick Recap

Ok...so maybe we're not so great at this whole blog thing since it has been about 3 weeks since our last post, but I assure you it will get better. We have had quite a lot going in these three weeks including purchasing a new (well new to us anyway) bike, finishing the semester, cruising the Caribbean and enjoying the celebration of Jesus' birthday with family. It's 5:15 in the A.M. and I've got to be at work in 30 minutes so I will let Linz fill you in on the details of the events, but now I've got my first post jitters out of the way and hopefully I will post up a little more often.

Almost done

Jason and I are almost done with this last week of school for this semester. He has FIVE tests this week, with the last one Thursday night. We are leaving Friday afternoon-ish for our vacation, so he will barely have time to pack, let alone enjoy the anticipation of our trip. Me on the other hand, I have been advocating cruises to everyone I talk to when they ask what I am doing for Christmas. I LOVE CRUISES! You get to eat fantastic food, soak up the wonderful sun, and dress up for dinner. Speaking of which, we went to Jason's unit Christmas party on Saturday night. Ta-da! Fancy, huh? Us, not the hillbilly football on in the back...classy, right? :o)

That's all that has really been going on. What wonderful things we will have time for once we are finished with school!!!!

First Post!

Hey Family and friends!

We wanted to be able to keep you in the loop without having to catch up on the phone all the time (or not at all!) So we will try to update this as much as possible.

Finals are coming up next week and we are both stressing over that. BUT... after we get all that over with, we will be heading down to the gulf for some R&R on a cruise! Hooray for fun in the sun!

I hope your Thanksgiving was great and with Christmas coming, you can remember what this season (and every other season) is about..... Giving!
